Oooo... great point here, Steven! And it makes me think of the actual word we use to define system advancement, "break through". Maybe a key part of how we evolve is experiencing that total cellular breakdown. Because I think one of the most important parts about AI and creating a true super intelligence is to simulate the human experience in most fine grain detail. Once we are able to simulate it from this every possible perspective or atleast a billion perspectives or so but in this extreme fine detail. That is how meaning is gained. I create meaning through experience and my experience is totally unique and extremely fine grain. So I imagine that it is important to hook up learning experience to the intelligent mind with intention to create a better link to how we are actually accessing our thought. If the AI never experienced walking down a street in bedstuy Brooklyn, smelling the fresh Dough doughnuts made each Sunday morning, then how will they truly know the meaning of the yearn, want, nostalgia, of said Dough doughnut (hibiscus was the best iykyk) all of those core feelings that I associate with being a super intelligent being, myself!
