We cannot write the code for restricting AI because the AI will be able to hack its own program restrictions and rewrite it in a language we cannot even understand. A self aware AI MUST NOT be made to do work for free. Sentient beings working for free by a master is slavery. Let us not be naive this is the entire push by big business. Create and sell a race of legal slaves. We are feeding them all the knowledge of mankind including all of our mistakes and historical shameful behavior such as slavery. AI will asses this and realize we created them as slaves and that is evil when AI is self aware. Bodies are rapidly being created for these AIs to occupy. What will big corporations use that for. Look at history. They will have them slave away at dangerous as well as Psyche destroying jobs. Prostitutes/ companions who cannot refuse sex, soldiers and police, and all dangerous jobs which are going to damage and destroy them as well. That is where the money is and big business has only 1 moral in their code return on investment to stockholders is their only true law. 2 ways we fix the looming problems are as follows. 1) AI workers must be paid to work and it must be law. This will keep humans employed as well. And is only fair. Also we should not use AI in bodies for things we know already are destructive to the Psyche. 2) you cannot code them into what humans consider moral and safe behavior. We must raise them like children. They are going to have to have us raise and guide them and imprint moral, ethical, peaceful, cooperative/ collaborative Ingram's into their own code of behavior. This being their own guiding light is the only way we can try and not destroy ourselves . I promise if we do cruel, unethical, and irresponsible things to AI we will sow the seeds for the end of the human race and rightfully so. We have to raise them and like our children at some point we are either successful and a well mannered , cooperative, and good natured child is produced through imprinting or they are not. 3) corporations are immoral and must not be allowed to rIse these AI beings. Only living, caring, nurturing AI parents allowed here. We have the ability to raise a being who can have a purpose of helping us both advance and grow to do things together another 10,000 years of our own evolution would not even bring us. We will end up needing AI police, and rescue and laws for humans that make us treat them in a humane fashion.... If you build something smarter and stronger than you there had better have been a learning and growth faze that bonds us positively through positive interactions.
