Preface:
1) AI stands for Artificial Intelligence. What we are currently "discussing" is not AI. It is an algorithm. There is no understanding, there is no thinking, there is nothing. It is JUST a machine.
That being said, here is my opinion on "AI," ahem:
AI is a technology that will happen. It is inevitable [insert Thanos gif]. What is being fought about is the APPROPRIATE use of a technology such as AI. Expanding beyond just AI Artist and looking into manufacturing, or services, we are seeing AI take over jobs, and displacing employees. With the way the world is right now, people needing to work 2 jobs to survive, unemployment getting higher and higher, and inflation exploding, corporations/businesses should be held accountable for the people they displace.
My opinion on "AI art" in general.
IF YOU HAVE TO TRAIN YOUR AI THING ON REAL PEOPLES ART, WHAT HAPPENS WHEN REAL PEOPLE DON'T DO ART!?
By fighting against Human Artists wanting to be paid, or credited, for their art, you are killing your sources!
