You know who propagating this benefits? AI CEOs. It’s still mostly hype; these companies are not profitable yet and there’s inherent limitations to what LLMs could do. There will always be drives toward technology that attempts to automate work—ask the Luddites. This is not an inevitable consequence of AI, it’s a feature of capitalism. And it’s not inevitable, these are CHOICES we make.
