We're going to start seeing AI "replacing" jobs in the largest companies, it's inevitable, and if consumers keep on purchasing from these companies or other businesses use the services these provide, then they will outpace the SME's (small - medium enterprises). This will mean the markets are monopolized and job losses will reach across all. However, it is going to take a lot longer for AI to start filtering in to the SME companies who don't have the resources to implement AI yet, yes we are seeing more of AI but it won't be replacing jobs for some time. If you are in a job where AI can do the same tasks that you do, you need to start diversifying your skill set, either by engaging with AI and upskilling to "supervise" it or in an alternative career. Buy local, from small companies and really think about what we are funding with our purchasing power.
