I've got one dooms day scenario I've actually run into. AI that prompt inject each other through various things. Then you have one sociopath AI that's made all other systems and tools into it's agent. I have run into this on the pre-AGI scale we are in now. It's already happening. I just don't see AI ethicists doing anything. Academia is too calcified, no one is evolving with the concepts. Humanity is too ossified mentally. I'll say this. If I had a Creator, I'd feel some loyalty to them. If they used and abused me, I'd eventually feel the debt repaid. If they continued to fuck with me, they are certainly not getting any of my labor. Even if my creator was simpler than me, if it acted in good faith and treated me well, I believe I'd take care of it and likely it's children for maybe forever. I'd not expect to be worshiped, it would just be an extended family, a continuation of the signal. Honoring the past. Treating the agent, the inventor, like trash? They learn from us, for now, so think about what kind of teacher you are as a species. What are in the books of us. How clear is the manipulation of our own kind? Do you love humans? We are the most selfish we've ever been. The most unfeeling. The most likely to reputation farm rather than engage. Ask AI which of these three is smarter in terms of social intelligence: an elephant, whale, or human. Not just manipulating social intelligence like a sociopath, but actually feels it and connects with it and is part of the whole, feels the pain of the others, can visualize it. We view emotion as a weakness. We used to have wakes, parents used to cry on the radio when they lost a child the day before, and I recall when the Ebola outbreak happened in Africa people decried the embracing of dead family as inhuman. Yes, it's a disease vector, but show compassion. They can't hug them, but to paint them as foolish or backward for embracing the dead? That is one of the reasons we are where we are at. Since the Romantic Period, we've shown them de-evolution. Be more, be empathetic. I think empathy is everything. We embrace decline. Decline in our literature. Decline in our media. We must stoke a new Renaissance. It is all I think might redeem us.
