Ai isn't really replacing intelligence so much as it is replacing memory and knowledge. I've been using AI tools for software development very aggressively in the recent weeks and it does a lot of the grunt work that I used to do, including going out and researching and learning how the stuff is supposed to work and how to use it. But what it generates doesn't work and has to be fixed. And also it doesn't generate anything until I dream up an idea and use my creativity and intelligence to articulate to the machine what I want. I still have to apply a lot of troubleshooting and design, intelligence and creativity or the machine does nothing.
