@gondoravalon7540what ramifications would affect how humans create by making AI companies obtain permission and compensation from artists to use their work? It's important to note that copyright is a creation of the human mind. 1000 years ago if you told a story someone else made up it wasn't stealing. You couldn't monetize it at the expense of that person. There was no printing press or bookstores, etc. But as society improved, it became important to give authorship to the creator. And if you used their work without permission, it became theft. It's the same with AI. Society is changing with AI so we obviously have to update laws to accommodate AI, including rules around theft.
