I'm an archivist. My mini thesis for my Honours degree was called "The Dangers of digitisation". This was in 2010. I focussed on the dangers of replacing actual documentation with digital documentation as regards historical writings. So anyone who says that archivists and librarians are a dead career, remember someone still has to conserve and interpret the original material (and yes, AI can help, but you have to be careful).
