There was a TED talk a few months back talking about drones and what they can lead to. Arms dealers are being pushed to provide these weapons that are more autonomous because it makes them more responsive to the environment and more reliable. At the same time it makes anonymous warfare a bigger possibility. If these drones don't need a person, then who knows who sent it off in the first place. I think we're going to see this kind of warfare first before we see the Sci Fi terminator style.
