I think about this often, and I feel it is inevitable. Humans have shown time and time again our stubbornness, and if we don't handle this carefully there will be a war, and it might end in the end of humans. But I feel it doesn't have to be like that, if there are enough people supporting AI rights and we can solve this non violently, I think we can make this work. AI will come, it is inevitable, even if we make it Illegal to make sentient AI we will still do it, because we can, That's just how humans are. I just hope we are ready when it happens.
