But the reality doesn't match the hype and the fear-mongering coming from people who should know better. Humans have always faced deadly threats. We have escaped the ravages of viruses, bacteria, and parasites. Along the way weathered ice ages, famines, wars, and genocides. As anyone who watches local news can tell you, we are at the mercy of drivers who text while they drive, as we are the confluence of factors which beget cancer.
Though Autonomous Weapons (AW) will undoubted pose a threat for years to come, their very existence will fuel an arms- and intelligence- race to eliminate (or at least control) the AW's - AW Killers.
