What should have been fed to these generative machines are just the basics of art: line, shape, composition, colors, hue, value, contrast. Then just watch them generate from that. That's the only time it'll be art...and even then, it won't be made by the person who ran the ai. Lol. I remember seeing procedural geometric images in Deviant Art back in 2006, i think those are the real "generated art" vs generated images by current machines today.
