why do "we" have to decide the AI meets the threshold to be considered a person? I think the limit is met or not met regardless of our decision. the Turing Test is a great idea but it needs a better definition. it just tests a social ability, but humans have social abilities because they evolved in an environment that requires them to socialize, it's not necessarily what makes our intelligence unique. also some humans wouldn't pass the turing test, like autistic people, are they not human?
