Autonomous weapons aren't sociopaths, they simply behave according to what a programmer has defined as an allowable situation to fire. If the specification of a robot says it is allowed to fire simply from seeing a certain persons mobile on the ground, then that's not a issue with the weapon, that's a issue with the specification that was given and the policies behind it, not the fact the weapon was autonomous.
