At my company they are pushing product and design to push code using ai. The issue is that the other direction is much more fruitful.
We have engineers who are not interested at all in design, making better designs with ai to unblock themselves and push projects.
From what I see it will be the other way around, engineering will eat the other fields. You just don't need a PM or designer if a strong engineer with AI can do their job better
