Try running the agent in parallel to your current work, and write notes with pen & paper. What did the agent do, did it help, could it be more useful, and what new concepts did you find. Gets your AI usage up (maybe spin up a second to discuss what you're learning, double tokens!), and you get hands on experience with the tools.
Edit: Also, "how many tokens did you use" is a fad. Soon it'll move to "how useful is your work" which is different maths.
