They're still very much interested in the cancer curing AI and the associated profits, it's just way harder than automating paper pushing and they probably don't want to advertise it until they feel the ROI is there to show off to investors.
The cancer side is also not really pushing people out of jobs yet, that's almost exclusively because of the bubble popping and interest rates coming up post covid. So there is no buzz from workers either.
