If science fiction stories have taught me anything, at some point it'll be cheaper to use slaves from marginalized communities than AI, so even the developed nations will swap over to a strategy of dehumanizing "others" with explicit racism and bigotry and forcing them to fight for us, while the citizens who have been effectively propagandized to excuse our slave soldiers will be blissfully unaware anything bad is even happening in the world because the death and destruction is overseas and out of sight. The news will report "Yet another day of military success where not a single person lost their life." Because the slave soldiers aren't considered people. And anyone speaking out against this horrific paradigm will be deemed a radical revolutionary who is trying to hurt the good people of this country. You can already see it, even people who view themselves as good have made excuses for bombing children because "well their country shouldn't have voted for evil leaders." You're the exact type of person who can so easily dehumanize. And I'd just like to remind people, CHILDREN CAN'T VOTE. How *some* people can sleep at night will never not astound me.
