I actually think the opposite (so long as you operate in a free and democratic nation, where you can trust your institutions, and correct problems when they creep in).
When we are anonymous we are feral animals. Think road rage. Think internet arguments. That's not how humans have evolved to communicate. Society could benefit from civility, society can benefit from people being held to account. Of course have anonymous ways of whistleblowing, but damn, in the age of bots and soon to be ai, don't you want to know the person you're engaging with on the internet is real?
