Im getting my degree in information systems currently. Someone in my software development class tried to backseat vibe code for me the other day. They saw me reading some output from claude and they were like “yeah you know you can just ask it to do something and it does it” It was infuriating “just because you can doesn’t mean you should.” What i was currently working on was fixing their mistakes. They put the admin page in the same file as our landing page for the web app. With no auth tokens. So anyone could inspect element the api calls and get to the admin page of our web app. I didn’t know what jwt tokens were so I was asking claude questions about how it worked and how it would fix the problem.
