Sounds like our director of product. Nobody at my company likes him and somehow he still has that position. Devs hate working him and he doesn’t have the competence to even use his brain to answer basic questions. This is to the point he barely knows how simple functions of our product works. Ask question about a ticket? You get an ai response from him. Report findings in code that can cause a bug if it is released? Ai response. Product change request with evidence that it will greatly benefit clients? Ai response on why we just won’t do it. Somehow leadership does not see this as a problem, but wonder why so many people left in the last 5 months. I don’t hate Ai as it is useful, but to me this extreme push is nonsense. Seems to just be a way to please shareholders so they can justify their investment(Feel free to correct me if I am wrong here).
