Using or not using AI has nothing to do with using your brain to make decisions. AI is only a tool for gathering information and one should always take information from the Internet with a grain of salt. Using what information you've gathered and doing real world testing is where the brain comes in. I tried Brave search a few years back and thought it sucked but based on this new information I tried it again and feel like the results are as good as a Google search and better than DuckDuckGo. Don't misunderstand as I agree that assuming that AI results are the gospel truth is a dumb idea but throwing out information just because it comes from an AI query is the equivalent of sticking your head in the sand.
