I feel like the "how will anyone gain experience to become upper management" question is just missing the point that its not a one to one headcount match to junior employees. If a department has 50 "workers" and 3 "leaders" AI may replace half of the workers and maybe 1 of the leaders. There's still people that can be promoted...unless AI replaces 100% of the workers.
Im not saying anything about whether or not this is good or bad, just that (currently) there will be people building experience that may translate to future leadership positions even with a heavy AI enabled company.
