The VFX industry is still suffering the effects from the strikes a couple years back. It was worse last year, but as the industry has adapted and moved on, the roles have not really returned. There’s still a lot of demand for VFX but the economics behind it have made it complicated. I think AI is quickly encroaching on VFX jobs but I doubt it’s making as big of a direct impact as this analysis implies.
