Here's the thing about companies adopting AI, because people do not want to admit it because I don't think they want to acknowledge how little companies actually care about their employees and their customers, or how much they will fuck customers up the ass when they have the opportunity to. Anybody who paid for cable television in the 2000s will know this. That South Park episode poking fun at cable was only ever so slightly exaggerated from what it actually was like. Companies will take a shitty employee who never takes a vacation day, never calls in sick, never has to eat or use the bathroom, will work 24/7 with zero complaints, over a perfect employee who takes a one week vacation every year, still comes in when they're sick, and works 80 hours a week. Add in that failing to hire the shitty employee comes with a high chance of absolutely imploding the economy, as well as the fact that the shitty employee is extremely sycophantic, and it's zero wonder why companies are trying to push it so much.
