There would have to be a tipping point event with AI. Some sort of high profile event where AI was responsible for something like a huge loss of life or a disaster. If public trust in AI was eroded, companies would be clamoring for it to be dismantled and companies would distance themselves very publicly.
Barring this happening…no, we’re stuck with this garbage.
