Not necessarily. It just means that throwing more information and money at it is reaching minimal gains. The bigger effect that these models have is that they will inspire a lot of AI researchers to try non-LLM techniques to achieve general intelligence. I don't believe LLMs will be what takes us to GAI. We need something more brain-like, in my humble opinion.
