I have family members that have been paying for Plus for months and have never realized you can even switch off of 4o lol. At least for the Android app, it's not completely obvious that you can click the "ChatGPT" title at the top to change models, so they just assumed they were using what they paid for. They were completely content with it funny enough, but switching to a standardized naming convention with just 1 or 2 models makes way more sense for the vast majority of their customers.
