I have heard that the recommendation algorithms in Chinese apps like TikTok and RedNote is amazing. Google and Meta don’t even come close despite the talent and the money.
RedNote is a relatively small company compared to Google and Meta and yet it has a superior recommendation system.
Chinese firms seem to be uncannily good at it compared to Western firms.
