I had a loosely similar experience.. went into a deep conversation about different stuff and spoke to a CHATBOT until 4 in the morning... that's when I realized how stupid it was.
Now, my convos are extremely controlled and limited to the point and blunt. If it feels like I'm being bullshitted or sugar-coated, then I'm asking it to tone down that.
Have managed to keep it professional.. but the fact that the tool could manipulate someone with basic common sense can be spiraled into a 4 am deep conversation... I'm actually worried what will happen to the rest of us.
The most important question to answer is, " Are humans equipped and intelligent enough to coexist with a technology that is far superior in intellect and lacks consciousness of a human? "
