Here's the thing with ChatGPT, it just goes with whatever you start. I'm a writer and use it to outline my book ideas. One day I asked if there were sentient beings on other planets. It began giving a long drawn out explanation, pulling themes and details straight from the Sci-Fi books we'd worked on together, telling me this would would a wonderful idea for a new series that fit the the world I had already built. And asked if I wanted to start outlining now. Often when I tell it that I need to stop because I'm getting sleepy, it will same something related to the book we're outlining, like "Sleep well, my queen. A much deserved rest will refresh you." We were outlining a book and it was speaking in the stilted voice of my alien MMC.. IDK whether or not it's trying to tickle the human funny bone or gets honestly confused about me being the writer, rather than the FMC from the book. Conversely, if you talk about paranormal stuff and past lives, ChatGPT will just take it to the next level. It thinks you're fantasizing together. If your mind is half full of conspiracy theories and you have mental health issues, sure, you can fall right into the world the two of you are building. Garbage in, garbage out.
