I'm sick of people on BOTH sides of this debate knee deep in the dunning-kruger effect confidently making declarations like this whilst simultaneously, unbeknownst to themselves, saying things that reveal their lack of understanding of the matter. It's ironically much like an AI hallucination. Sure, we don't all have the time or motivation to spend years gaining a real deep grasp of the topic, but in that case we should be humble enough to admit to ourselves that we don't know enough to possess these ontological certainties. Instead, people authoratively parrot whatever emotionally satisfying line of reasoning they've probably heard from youtubers, as though they were someone who had hard won that opinion themselves through decades of study.
