I also don’t think it’s really strange that people ask those sorts of questions. I do it sometimes just for the fun of seeing what it’ll say. And it’s hardly worse than turning to Reddit with some things. ChatGPT probably gives better advice than the relationship advice subreddits, even. Like you said, asking isn’t really the problem, and I don’t think it really says that much about what people base their decisions on. One of the things that these chat bots are really great at, regardless of the quality of the output, is to provide a rubber duck effect. That’s pretty helpful in general. As long as you don’t blindly trust it.
