I’ve suffered from ear infections since I was a kid. Every couple of years I would get a flare up - right now I’m 35 and I’ve probably gone 5 years since the last one. Thing is, I can always feel them coming on. This time - literally about two weeks ago - I talked through exactly what I was feeling with ChatGPT, the pressure/symptom’s/feelings/ what I did that day. It gave me a very specific plan to follow with some OTC meds - including what to avoid - and some specific teas and plan with hot showers, a hot compress, how to sleep, etc etc. It was the first time in my life that I not only stopped the ear infection from taking hold, but getting through it without two weeks of terrible pain and antibiotics from doctor. There is some nuance in it all, but it’s absolutely incredible how much it helped me through that at a time when seeing a doctor wasn’t really in the cards for me.
