Totally ridiculous. People need to get over it: 1. It’s been happening for decades. It’s just easier and more realistic now. 2. Recognizing that it’s fake and stupid to get over any emotional reaction to it is pretty much infinitely a cheaper and easier option than somehow trying to root it out/prevent it/convict offenders. 3. Due to 2, it’s absolutely inevitable that this will be increasingly common and wide spread. It’s simply not possible to eliminate without basically banning computers and social media. It’s childish to care when someone says something behind your back or now makes an AI image of you. People need to grow a thicker skin to stuff like this to exist in the modern world.
