Most astronomy work is already done with algorithms to handle the vast amount of data produced by telescopes. The Event Horizon Telescope alone produces tens of petabytes of data for each observation. Even with AI improving for the next 10 years, I imagine that it still won't be accessible for unskilled individuals to do.
