There are a handful of people at the very top of the Ai revolution and they have a FAR different desire than we realize. They have a world and social/commercial goal they are working towards that none of us can even conceive of.....humanity is blinded by getting chat gtp to make something easy for them. ALL of humanity should be fighting this but rather is just setting there watching.
