I’m aware of that, but like I said in another comment, there’s only so many physical-but-well-trained and well paying jobs out there that robots and AI can’t do well. It’s a small minority of jobs in which competition will only increase dramatically. I’m a software engineer, I’m aware that most people like to overstate the imminence of and overestimate just how advanced AI tech is. It’s not all doom and gloom/skynet looking stuff that’s going to collapse the global economy by 2027 and most working people today probably won’t even have to worry about it affecting their careers that much at all tbh. All I’m saying is that we’re not ready for the inevitability of its capabilities in the next few decades and how it’ll affect the socioeconomic status quo, assuming that there’s no total collapse of society by like 2050 first due to other factors of course.
