TIL from Commercial_Platform2 that the 80 percent of humanity living in poverty (living on less than 10 dollars a day, half of whom live on less than 1.75) are lazy, and not the product of systemic forces which breed and necessitate an underclass. TIL I also learned that the "good will prosper", despite the value or purchasing power of every dollar being dependent upon the global majority having none (lest inflationary pressures kick in, making prosperity as mediated by money the very definition of "bad"), and despite most growth flowing toward those with an arbitrary monopoly on land and credit, and despite rates of return on capital outpacing growth. >No way a robot could do menial human labor at the rate of a good worker, we are still at least a decade off. It's amazing how unconsciously people use language like this, and how instinctively they've been inculcated to frame all problems like, well, a corporate robot.
