Ok I was in a very similar situation and it’s not easy to get out of. I went to my teacher who accused me of plagiarism in a thesis essay for one of my analysis sentences being flagged as AI generated. She wouldn’t listen to me so I went to the principle and dean of students who said they could do nothing about it. I eventually went to the school district and had to go into their office to plead my case and they reviewed it and found no plagiarism or AI to have been used. I then used this experience to transfer classes by meeting with our school counselor because that teacher was in fact, quite a bitch. If you really didn’t plagiarse/use chat gpt, go over their heads if they don’t believe you because it really shows the people who review it at the district you’re being serious.
