well, part of the change could come from people seeking care less often. if you can trust the Med-GPT-8.0 to diagnose you just as well as a doctor, then you can just upload your medical history, describe your symptoms, and it will ask follow-up questions and even potentially say "the standard of care at this point requires a blood test to check for X level", which then the patient can go buy from a medical testing lab, then tell the results to the AI. so all of the administration, facilities, and maybe even the liability can be removed. what if another country, or an open-source community, makes Med-GPT-8.0 and people get bootleg, unlicensed copies? there is nobody to sue if you trusted it and it was wrong. so no tort, no facilities, no administrative costs, no doctor cost, no nurse cost, etc. etc., you just have the lab that does the blood test or X-ray.
