Businesses need to product goods and services that people want. That’s literally it. If AI can help them do it more efficiently and they choose not to use it, they will be beaten by a company that does it. That’s why these studios are fighting back. They may be replaced by AI power startups in 10 years if they aren’t allowed to use AI.
That said there’s plenty of room for agreement about not stealing actor’s likeliness for AI and such that they can agree to
