I wouldn't be irritated with ai bros as much at all-- if they didn't keep saying they're the ones making the art. If you can't put in the work to make it yourself, that's fine, but don't take credit for work you didn't do.
This is exactly like them telling an artist what to draw, the artist draws it, and then they post the art saying they made it themselves, whilst saying they've carefully instructed the artist they hired on what to do, ergo they deserve all the credit.
They told a robot what to do. They made nothing. They can be as detailed in their coding as they want, but they will never be the one who created that image.
