While there’s disagreement on who all is effected by this, since AI isn’t useful to every developer yet. My scariest concern with AI is that it’s pretty helpful for low code/no code platforms. I can’t comment much on its usefulness outside of React & the platform I work with. With that in mind some companies may be encouraged to move to low code environments and that’s very bad in my opinion. Low Code/No Code environments are frustrating for devs and limited. Also, higher ups expect quicker work but these low code platforms have you reinventing the wheel. Obviously, the most technical places will be safe for some time, but even companies like Microsoft use low code platforms on some teams. I’m not aware of what other companies have picked them up.
