I would have to disagree, if a Hollywood company used ai to make a script, and somebody else uses that script in their own way, the burden of proof would lay with that Hollywood company to prove it was made by a real person thus being subject to copyright. It’s kind of an innocent until proven guilty situation where the cost of paying writers to do the work themselves is much cheaper than paying people to edit ai work enough to get it fully copyright protected. Ai detection in these cases are not about proving ai was not used, it’s about proving real people did the work. There would be obvious holes in cases where a random person claimed to originally write ai work, documentation in ai logs in cases where ai work was human edited to comply for copyright protection, and witness statements and written evidence for work created 100% by real people
