Well, a good therapist knows how to have people open up and feel comfortable. But yes, I agree AI might be a good alternative in the future. The problem I see is that people in the US need that alternative now, and while AI can be good for some people, it might be a bad idea for others. When it comes to mental health, a person who doesn't get th right treatment might hurt himself or others as well.
