Raw LLM Responses

Some of the signatures were likely faked. A few people have already come out and said no, they didn't sign it, and they disagree with it. Not sure this letter's author realizes what they're calling for, but it's anti-progress, unenforceable, and addresses zero of the real issues that this technology sheds light on. We've been watching companies who develop this stuff, already taking it slow! GPT-4's training finished last fall. Google essentially refused to release any of their AI stuff over the last couple years, until competition forced their hand, and look where that got them, now they're seemingly struggling to catch-up.. Imagine if we slow down, but other countries don't. Instead of calling to slow down, which really doesn't change much about the outcomes here, we need to be calling for something like a UBI, or an AI Dividend. People are starting to wake up and see where this stuff is heading, and AI wouldn't exist without the data these companies collect from us, to train it.. So everyone should receive a piece of the benefits of AI, in exchange for that data.
