I did a coursework research project where I Simulated the markets AI adoption and discovered that the adoption of AI depends on a number of factors but in general companies wait for other companies and are very resistant change overall. I found only the largest companies which can afford to build in house solutions or cover the integration costs which come with service based solutions were able to adopt ai out of the gates. For the rest of companies it trickles down slowly. The numbers showed that it could be as much as 10 years before AI adoption spreads to over half the industry.
