Thank you, at least someone gets it. The GBR isn’t being fucked directly because of state/federal government and their decisions, it’s being mostly fucked by climate.
Rising ocean temperatures are stressing coral causing bleaching and death. It’s pretty simple really.
There are no mining leases on the Great Barrier Reef. There are ocean routes and dredge spoil from widening of ports, but those pale in comparison to what is happening due to climate change where 1/3 of the GBR is slowly dying.
